How to add many articles at once (bulk ordering)

With our bulk ordering feature, you'll be able to add multiple articles to your request at once. This feature is especially useful if you need to order multiple content articles, as it enables you to do this quickly by just uploading one file to the system. Furthermore, if your website is run by WordPress and you have installed our plugin, you will be able to automatically schedule the publication of each post or page. Fill in and upload one file to the system, and technology takes care of the rest!

How to find the bulk ordering file

Create a new order and choose your language.

Click "Upload many from .xls" from the bottom right corner of your order view.

Download the bulk ordering template to your computer.

How to fill out the bulk ordering file

Here you can read instructions on what to include in each field in the bulk ordering file. Note that all fields are not mandatory; mandatory fields are: Title, Min Words, Template ID, Specific instructions. One bulk ordering file can have max. 120 content articles.

H1

Write H1 for each content article in your request. This is a title the writers will see, so make sure it's descriptive enough for writers to understand at a quick glance what the task is about. H1 could be, for example, "What are the best dog breeds for families" or "Product description about dog food". It cannot be changed by the writer.

Words

Insert the minimum amount of words for each content article. Word count should be set somewhere between 50-5000.

Content template ID

Insert the template ID you want to be used for each content article. The ID is visible in the template library under the name of the template you want to use. Learn more about content templates here.

Tone of voice

Add the tone of voice for each content article (see our guide about instructions). Examples are: Informal, Friendly, Business, Formal. Choosing one of these will give the best results. You can also have a look at other tone of voice examples.

Meta title and meta description

Typing either Yes or No depends on whether you want the writer to create a meta title and description for each content article. Meta tags are invisible tags that provide data about your page to search engines and website visitors.

Focus keyword

Type the focus keyword for each content article in this field. Focus keyword can be one word or a long-tail keyword, but you cannot include a string of words separated by a comma. For example: correct focus keyword > dog leash, incorrect focus keyword > dog leash, collar. Don't include any symbols with your focus keyword. One content article can have only one focus keyword.

Sub keywords

Type all sub keywords for each content article to this field, separated with a comma (,).

You can decide whether a writer should use the keywords in their exact form or if a near match is accepted. When a near match is selected, a writer can add one additional word between the words you have inserted. For example, a near match for a keyword “best dog breeds” could be “best hunting dog breeds”.

If you want an exact match, insert the keywords like this: dog breeds, most popular dog breed, best dog breeds.

If you want a near match for the keywords, use the following format: dog breeds|near, most popular dog breed|near, best dog breeds|near.

You may also select near match for only some of the keywords, for example: dog breeds, most popular dog breed, best dog breeds|near.

Instructions for the writer

Include instructions for each content article in this field (see our guide about instructions).

Reference URL

Reference URL can be an existing website or a document with further instructions. It can also be an example of how the content you order should look like. Make sure to add a link in this format: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Content.

Site it will be published on

The URL of the website is where the content will be published. Make sure to add a link in this format: https://myblog.com/.

Anchor texts

If you want a writer to include links to the text, write the anchor texts for the links here separated with a comma (,). For example: golden retriever, french bulldog.

If you want a writer to include links to the text, include the URLs here separated with a comma (,). Note that they should be in corresponding order with the anchor texts given in the previous field. For example: https://www.golden-retriever.com/, https://www.french-bulldog.com/. Remember that you should include the same amount of links as anchor texts in the previous field. Make sure to add a link in the format: https://link.com/.
